Aide 2- beginner course

The beginner freediving course is a professional and comprehensive course that we teach over 3 days, which includes 5 water training sessions, 3 depth training sessions in the sea, and 2 pool training sessions.
This course is ideal for those who want to learn freediving in-depth and gain the tools necessary to take their freediving to the next level.
Unlike the basic freediving course, the beginner course is a professional program, and as a school, we are committed to elevating your skills to a higher level of performance in order to certify you as a freediver.
Apart from the fun, the freediving course has specific goals we aim to help you achieve.
In the AIDA 2 course, our goal is to train you to dive comfortably to a depth of 12-20 meters using a pair of fins, with proper fin technique. Additionally, we want you to be able to comfortably dive to a distance of 40 meters in the pool, utilizing relaxation and correct breathing.
During static training, we will help you hold your breath for up to 2:00 minutes, guiding you through the urge to breathe and overcoming it, ensuring you succeed.
Everything will be tailored to your individual pace, focusing on building your confidence and helping you understand and overcome the challenges you may face along the way.
Prerequisite requirements to join the beginner freediving course, according to the organization’s guidelines, are:

  • Age 16 with parental consent
  • A 200-meter swim test without fins

Throughout the course, you’ll have the opportunity to dive at the most beautiful dive sites in Eilat, with lighthouse Beach being our primary location for sea training.
At the end of the course, you’ll be able to explore the various dive sites in Eilat on your own and enjoy the abilities you’ve developed during the course.
You are not required to bring freediving equipment to the course with us, as we provide new, high-quality equipment for the duration of the course, including:
Freediving wetsuit, mask, snorkel, fins
However, you will need to bring a towel, hat, sunscreen, and a reusable water bottle.
It is possible to split the freediving course, with pool training sessions held in Tel Aviv and water training sessions in Eilat.

Aida 3- Advanced course

The advanced freediving course is designed for individuals who have already completed initial training with a recognized freediving organization and are eager to improve their skills, dive deeper, and dive more efficiently in Eilat.
The purpose of this course is to refine your freediving techniques and enhance your understanding of the sport, all under close supervision and professional guidance. You will gain a deeper theoretical understanding of essential topics like pressure equalization during dives, proper breathing techniques, different diving styles, freefall mechanics, and safety. Additionally, we will focus on utilizing your dive reflex (mammalian diving reflex) to make your dives easier and safer.
The advanced freediving course aims to help you achieve key performance goals:
Complete a static breath-hold of 2:45 minutes through proper training, without hyperventilation or breathing manipulation.
Dive 55 meters in the pool with the aid of neck weights, achieving perfect neutral buoyancy.
Dive to depths of 24-30 meters in the sea using fins and rope pulling, applying the most efficient technique.
This course represents a significant shift in your development as a freediver. Unlike a beginner, who is focused on simply diving deeper or farther, we concentrate on helping you become a more efficient freediver, maximizing the use of buoyancy changes during both descent and ascent.
In the process, we will improve your training methods and help you build a tolerance to carbon dioxide and low-oxygen environments, all while maintaining relaxation.
